Alfie McShane

My name is Alfie McShane, an inspiring Film / Video Editor. 

Studying at Platanos College from 2010 to 2016. I don’t remember much from the school days; More of the quieter kids in school, a good kid. Loved to have laugh with everyone. However, school wasn’t my preferred place to go. And when I did attend I would get my head down and help out the teachers when appropriate. For example, picking up the register and taking it back to reception. Being part of the anti-bullying team in year 8. 

Attending Croydon College from 2016 – 2019, I studied Public Services L2 due to me wanting to become an armed police officer. However, that did not go to plan as I thought, studying a Creative Media L2 then finished college on the Art Design Extended Diploma L3 course. As this was more peace of mind, I went to study at Kingston University, 2019-2022 studying a Bachelor’s Degree in Filmmaking. Since finishing university, I have kept up with editing for peers I have met before.
